Christopher Wade is the Master Giclée Printmaker at the Pixel Place. Chris started his career out as a professional photographer then moved to a local engraving firm working in their production darkroom and copying lab. Eventually, Chris became a computer programmer programming robots and supervising a team of robotic system integrators. In the fall of 2001, he and his partner began to develop the Pixel Place concept. Chris is also an artist himself and educator, specializing in digital photog- raphy. His passion is street and rural photography and his works are periodically exhibited locally. He is an instructor at Mohawk College, Fennel Campus in Hamilton, Ontario. Canada and is currently teaching the the Introduction to Digital Photography course. Chris also teaches various courses at Henry's School of Imaging. Based on his teaching experience, his photog- raphic and his printmaking background, Chris developed Perfect-Pixs originally as a teaching aid.
The Pixel Place is the perfect marriage of Chris' love for art, his photographic and printing background and his computer skill-set. He brings to every project both the technical skills and an artist's eye ensuring that every print produced meets both the artist's and Pixel Place standards.
